The State Duma proposed to expand the right to tax deduction for the acquisition of KKT

The State Duma is considering a bill to expand the possibility of deducting taxes for the purchase of an online cash register for additional categories of entrepreneurs.

According to the appeal and accompanying data to the bill, at the moment not all individual entrepreneurs who provide services and perform work are entitled to receive compensation for the purchase of a cash register in the form of a tax deduction. This right now applies to individual entrepreneurs with PNS, UTII without hired workers.

To register the tax deduction, these entrepreneurs had to register the purchased online cashier before July 1, 2019, the fulfillment of the conditions gives the right to receive a tax deduction in the amount of 18,000 for one cash register, taking into account the costs of its maintenance, installation, FN and OFD.

The bill introduced into consideration is planned to extend the possibility of compensation in the form of a reduction in the amount of tax on expenses caused by the purchase of KKT to additional categories of individual entrepreneurs. In this case, we are talking about entrepreneurs on a simplified tax system (STS) who provide services and perform work to the population.

If the bill is adopted, the possibility of obtaining a tax deduction will affect not only individual entrepreneurs on the simplified tax system providing services, but also entrepreneurs on UTII with labor contracts as of the date of registration of the cash register from July 1, 2018 to July 1, 2019. Also, tax deduction will be possible for entrepreneurs paying taxes on personal income.
